Giving Back – Free or Relatively Cheap Property Submission Sites

Stolen via Google ImagesToday, being Thanksgiving, I wanted to give something back to the community.  I've learned so much here and many of you have shared sites that I've felt have beneficial to myself.  So, with that said...

This is a list of many sites that I've found over the years and currently utilize for online property submissions.  Most are free of charge.  Some do not appear to get much traffic, while I consistently get responses from some others.  There are also many that I've used and no longer utilize because of the lack of responses.

I won't deny that the initial work on some of these sites may be time-consuming.  But, seriously, if you sell a property due to that effort, it's obviously worth it then.  On many sites you can just cut and paste the HTML code from Postlets or Point 2 Agent.  I have found many of these by just searching the internet.  I've also found many by going to Google Base and see where they have been posted from.  You need to do this occasionally, as I even found one of the sites just today.

Here we go:

Thanks, Marc. You're not going to believe this but when I went to make my pecan pie, I could not find the receipe anywhere so I went back to your post. Voila, thanks I would have been up a creek without it.

Tommy - You're welcome & hope it's of use to you.

Missy - Who would have thunk!  Glad I could be of help.

TLW - I was originally going to add "and TLW told me to add this," but chickened out.  Hey, it's turkey day - what do you want?  Oh, by the way, I'm using that oil drip pan now!  :)

Marc -the cartoons are so funny. I love the one dog one. I wonder which of these sites did you have better success then the others. Thanks for the useful info and the funny one too. "Marc it good post".

Faina - I meant to add a little blurb about each site, but didn't have time.  I really haven't gotten too many contacts as of late off of Craigslist.  Kijiji has given me several calls on rental properties that I have.  Again the same for Facebook.  House.info has been very surprising and I have consistently received contact off of that.  Good luck to you!

Marc - Good information. Having new sites is always useful even if they do not draw a lot of traffic. You can always use these as a listing tool. The consumer likes to see agents that go beyond just listing in MLS, Realtor.com and their website. You never know where the next sale is going to come from.

Do you have any good directories to list your website? A good inbound link is always great.

Bill - Glad that you can put these to good use.  I do use this as a listing tool.  I need to go over the directories in which I'm located and possibly put together a list of those.

great graphics, did you draw them yourself?  Thanks for the property links.  NJVille.com is a free one also.
Posted by Century 21 Mack Morris Iris Lurie about 1 year ago
Tim - Thank you, but no - I thought I made it obvious that they were drawn by others.  Glad the links could help.

Imagine the money to be made for the service of only having to enter once and have it go to all these sites!
Posted by Scott Wall (StoneHouse Realty, Inc) about 1 year ago
Scott - There are a lot of sites that actually distribute to the others, but I find that I end up submitting it myself.  For some reason I find that sometimes it works and at others not.
